I know myself how hard it can be to pulling the zips up on trousers when fingers are sore and by accident I have come up with the following and it works!!!
I've got a pair of trousers and the zip kept coming down when I was wearing them. I wondered what I could do to stop this and came up with the following....
I got a piece of elastic, the thinnest that you can find and tied the two ends up. I would say without stretching it the length of the loop would be around two inches. You may need to experiment abit here. I put one end of the loop in the hole that's at the end of the zip fastener the bit that you pull (furtherest away from the actual zip) and then put the other end of the elastic loop through it. This will secure it on the zip thing. Pull the zip up and then wrap the end of the elastic as many times around the button that is need for zip to be as far up as you want. (hope all of this is making sense). Then do up the button. This stopped the zip from going down when I was wearing the trousers. I then found out, this is the good bit ...................
That when I undid the button and pulled the trouser top apart, then started to pull the trousers down, leaving the elastic in place around the button, the zip would still go down, then having done what I was doing (being polite here), pulled the trousers up, did up the button..........Hey Presto....the zip came up. No more struggling trying to get my trouser zip up!!!!!!!
Simples........just like me.
